The
Woolgatherers Present . . .
The SheepShape Art Event: an original and inspirational
project which gave a focus for environmental art, local
sheep and wool history!
The
Idea: to make 3D sheep,
sheep-sized or smaller, from recycled and/or local natural
materials.
The
Sheepshape Art Event took place on 6th, 7th and 8th June
2003 in Leominster, Herefordshire.
Sheep
Shape is for anyone interested in the debate around rural
life and culture: people involved in farming, art, clothes,
wool, craft traditions, innovation and rural ingenuity.
Sheep Shape looks at Leominster's wool heritage and encourages
people to look again at the rural landscape and economy.Sheep
are more than rural wallpaper!
Sheepshape

Sheepshape Art Event produced 49 Art Sheep , no rain and
exceeded ALL expectations! Over 200 people attended the
